「不老男神」林志穎22日載著兒子Jenson，在桃園市中正北路發生特斯拉自撞意外，林志穎被搶救出來後緊急送往醫院治療，稍早，他的弟弟林志鑫以及經紀人於林口長庚醫院說明林志穎的最新病況，提到林志穎「病況逐漸好轉，意識清楚。」而他的妻子陳若儀則是不眠不休，堅強的守護著老公。

林志鑫提到第一時間，陳若儀接到熱心民眾打來的電話，但未能聯繫上林志穎，「我們帶著忐忑的心情，隨著二嫂來到醫院後，我們一家人與志穎的好友們，才確定了這個令人難過的事實，看著這幾天二嫂不眠不休，堅強的守護著志穎，我們兄弟姐妹們也都作為她的後盾，共同扶持與依靠。」

林志穎經紀人說明，林志穎目前狀況恢復良好：「志穎目前的狀況已經逐渐好轉，他目前的意識是清楚的，也能夠進行簡單對話，接下來在長庚醫療團隊的專業評估下，將進行相關的手術，很抱歉手術的內容暫時無法跟大家說明，後續志穎也會需要一些時間修復與靜養。」
