原PO在網路論壇「Dcard」貼出從月台拍下的火車照片,車廂明顯沉到月台底下,車尾也傾斜到低於地板,她不禁猜想是因為軌道本身就是斜的緣故,還是乘客都坐同一邊,直呼:「好想知道為什麼有時候列車會很明顯歪一邊?」
對於原PO的疑惑,不少網友赫然發現確實看過這種景象,「很多都是軌道歪歪的吧?像臺南拔林車站那個歪的就滿嚴重的」、「高雄的鼓山車站也是,因為車站位在彎道上面,區間車停靠的時候歪的超明顯」、「我還以為是方便殘障人士推輪椅進去,就像低底盤公車一樣」、「因為是台鐵,做事從不做正」。

有名司機員專業回覆,其實這叫做「超高」,為彎道所設計,使外側鐵軌高於內側,跟是否在車站內無關,「主要是為了讓重力分力抵銷離心力,進而提高限速或增加彎道安全係數,設計超高時要確保列車在最高限速或停車時重心不超出兩軌範圍,不然會翻車。」其他網友看完紛紛大讚長知識了。
