明朝開國皇帝朱元璋一生傳奇，他有許多事蹟至今仍為人們所津津樂道；甚至現在很多影視劇，都是以朱元璋的生平為題材，創下不錯的收視率；不過，朱元璋曾制定一句話，現在很多歷史劇都在用，且大家一定聽過，只是不知道竟是源起於朱元璋，讓人料想不到！

究竟是哪一句話現在歷史劇都在用？那就是「奉天承運皇帝詔曰」，這句話在宮廷戲裡可說是耳熟能詳；追溯其源頭，「皇帝」、「詔」是秦始皇最早使用的。漢承秦制，逐步建立起了一套完備的皇帝制度。「詔曰」這兩個字則最早用於漢代的帝王文書中，之後一直被歷代帝王沿用下來；可是，「奉天承運」這幾個字，在明朝以前，卻從未在歷史中出現過。

據史料記載，「奉天」這種叫法最早的發明者是明朝的開國皇帝明太祖朱元璋。朱元璋公元1368年在南京稱帝，在那建造了一座富麗堂皇的皇城，其中最重要、規格最高的朝會大殿，便命名為「奉天殿」。這「奉天承運」的説法恰是源於這座奉天殿。

這一説法也曾在清朝治學嚴謹的大學者俞樾的《茶香寶續鈔》中有記載：「奉天承運」是「論奉天殿名而及之」，由此而知，這種四字用法最早源於明代的奉天殿。

如今「奉天承運皇帝詔曰」成了影視劇中太監公公宣讀聖旨時，聽到最多的一句話；但值得一提的，這句話的斷句並不像影視劇中那樣的讀法「奉天承運，皇帝詔曰」，而是「奉天承運皇帝，詔曰」，或是八個字一次唸完不斷句；希望以後影視劇在用到這八個字時能嚴謹一點，不要再唸錯了！
