對此，大S透過經紀人回應《TVBS新聞網》，「沒有退出這件事，都是網路誤傳」。經紀人強調，大S沒有要退出演藝圈，「我們聲明也發了，都是正常在做的工作，都有在運作」，透露陸續接到很多戲劇邀約，只是最近事情比較多，還沒討論到這一塊，目前會先讓她把家事處理完。

此外，大S與具俊曄閃婚後，男方也火速來台，目前人在防疫旅館隔離，預計期滿後將和大S、親家見面。
