馬力1千匹 廣告卻說極速只有90

美國鼎鼎大名的改裝廠Hennessey，就算頂級超跑也要敬畏三分，因為Hennessey最出名的就是動力提升，任何車到他們手上，動力絕對會三級跳，但是有個奇怪廣告出現在芬蘭，一輛擁有1,012匹馬力的Hennessey Mammoth 1000，最高速只有每小時90公里。

美國皮卡之間的較量非常激烈，以名氣來說福特F-150的知名度較高，但是以銷售表現上來看，道奇的Ram也不惶多讓，在頂級性能皮卡的領域中，Ram 1500 TRX的性能表現能夠與Ford F-150 Raptor平起平坐，原廠6.2升機械增壓V8引擎，最大馬力712匹，經過Hennessey操刀後，馬力提升到1,012匹，根本就是一輛全地形的馬力怪獸。

明明有1,012匹馬力，為何到了芬蘭極速卻比普通小汽車更慢，因為Hennessey Mammoth 1000的油耗太高，以5人座乘用車進口需要繳交關稅44.8％，這麼重的稅金可能讓買家吃不消，車商因此改用N2類貨車方式進口能省下不少稅金，但是有一個附帶條件，車輛必須加裝限速器，最高速度限制在每小時90公里。

售價高達27.7萬美金(約台幣775萬)的Hennessey Mammoth 1000，及速只有90公里會有人買嗎，想必車商已經做好對策，限速器的法規限制或許有技術上的規避方式，不然空有千匹馬力卻只能當買菜車，實在太浪費了。
